Atlanta police arrested Jacquees early Thursday morning (May 24) and charged the Cash Money Records artist with multiple misdemeanors, including speeding and possession of a controlled substance, according to Atlanta Police Department.

New York Daily News reports Jacquees was detected by police driving a 2007 Bentley Continental at 116 miles per hour on Interstate 85 and pulled over at around 3 a.m. As the vehicle came to a stop, officers noticed a passenger toss something out a window, which Jacquees admitted to an officer was marijuana. Police searched the vehicle and recovered three additional grams of weed.

The "B.E.D." singer was charged with speeding, reckless driving, littering and possession of a controlled substance. The passenger, Stanesha Boutwell, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The incident is Jacquees' third run-in with police this year. In March, he was forcibly detained by Miami police after allegedly driving without a seatbelt. The artist later described officers' actions as "excessive force" and "ridiculous."

"I'm here to let all my fans and people who support me know that I am physically and mentally okay," Jacquees said on Instagram Live. "The excessive force used during my arrest for not wearing my seatbelt was ridiculous, however, at this time I have been advised not to speak on the situation and to allow my legal representatives to look at the situation and just handle it however they feel is necessary."

Two weeks ago, a Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputy arrested Jacquees for disorderly conduct at baggage claim in the General Mitchell International Airport.

It's an unfortunate string of events for the singer, who is set to release his new album, 4275, this summer. Last week, Jacquees released the sensual single, "Inside," featuring Trey Songz, which you can listen to below.
