ILoveMakonnen Wades Through a Gloomy Day in “Back Again” Video

ILoveMakonnen released the sixth installment in his Drink Water series a few weeks ago. The Atlanta by way of Los Angeles rapper keeps the promo game going for the new project with a music video for the track "Back Again."

The video depicts iLoveMakonnen as keep his spirits up during particularly gloomy day. The rain won't stop pouring, but that can't deter the "Tuesday" rapper. The self-produced track sees Makonnen addressing an up and down relationship that has it's fair share of bumps on the road.

"You have to breath it in nowadays/I take you to the movie and I treat you like a groupie/And you don’t mind/I show you round the town and I dine you with the finest/And it’s a great time/Your friends say that I’m horny but you know I make you horny/You say that you don’t love me but you barely try to hug me/And when we’re on the floor you always wanna get next to me/And probably try to rub me and put me under the rug but/I don’t wait too long for you to call/I be probably running home for your alarm," iLoveMakonnen raps in his sing-song style.

Drink Water 6 features 11 original tracks from iLoveMakonnen with no guest appearances. It's also the first project in the Drink Water series to get a retail release. It sounds like ILoveMakonnen has a lot more in store for 2016 though as he recently told the Huffington Post that his next album should be released this fall or winter.
