Hoodrich Pablo Juan and BlocBoy JB uncover an infectious chemistry on their new song and video, "Off the Rip," which dropped in the form of a music video on Friday (June 22).

The collaboration teams the Atlanta and Memphis spitters over a mellow slapper from frequent-Gunna collaborator, Turbo (not the Chief Keef pseudonym). In the video, the duo alternate between dancing on a house's porch and inside its kitchen, looking like they're thoroughly enjoying each other's rapping. Hoodrich bats first and delivers colorful descriptions of his lavish spending with blasé swagger. He closes with a blast of three-syllable punchlines.

"Red and white Givenchy, fresh like a peppermint/I need money, that other shit irrelevant/Long chopper like the nose on an elephant/Shooter classy but I turned that to elegant/Racks in my bed like I just had a settlement/Gucci, Gucci, Gucci all on my socks and my letterman," the Gucci Mane protegé raps.

BlocBoy follows with playful pivots from violence to girl-stealing and back again, spitting, "These niggas, they look like they scared of me/I lay 'em down like a better three/I put his picture up on a white tee, aye/Call up your ho/I just want a top like a fro/Get to see an opp, on God I'ma blow.

Hoodrich is just the latest rapper to tap the Memphis phenom (and 2018 XXL Freshman) for a feature. BlocBoy jumped on G-Eazy's latest song, "Drop," following high-profile collabs with Drake and A$AP Rocky, and on Saturday (June 23), he teased a new song with Lil Uzi Vert. Pablo Juan last joined 1017 Eskimo Records chief Guwop and label mate Yung Mal in the video for "Yeah, Yeah."
