Gunplay has been released from jail. According to NBC Miami, the MMG foot soldier received a $150,000 bond and was placed on house arrest this afternoon. Gunplay, birth name Richard Morales, turned himself in to Miami-Dade Police October 18, 2012 for an outstanding robbery warrant. This warrant stemmed from an incident April 13th, when Gunplay allegedly robbed a man at a local tax business. Gunplay’s lawyer provided the following statement in an email earlier today: “The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community. He should be home with his family shortly. This is the first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career. Stay tuned to for more information on this case. —XXL Staff
