Gucci Mane needs receipts if Eminem is going to be referred to as the "King of Rap."

During a recent interview on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, the topic of the Detroit rapper came up, and La Flare questioned why he'd have the crown.

"You got to come up with a better name," Gucci said. "I ain't playing him in my car. You playing him in yours?"

Smiley's co-host did admit to playing Eminem's Kamikaze album the week it was released, to which Gucci incredulously responded, "You sliding around playing Eminem in your car, you and your old lady?"

Given Eminem's affinity for beef, it wouldn't be surprising if he has a response for Gucci's comments soon, though it's not necessarily an outright shot from GuWop. We'll see.

This news arrives just a week after Gucci Mane revealed that he'd squashed his issues with Waka Flocka Flame, a one-time friend with whom he'd had a falling out with years ago. "To be honest, with him going on the internet like that, I reached out because I thought it was urgent," Gucci said in a recent interview with Atlanta's Streetz 94.5. "I was thinking it was something... you know. So I was like, let me reach out now because I want to know. But yeah, we had that conversation. Everything's in the past now."
