One of the many beautiful aspects of hip-hop is that tomorrow's star can look nothing like today's, and where they come from can be ever-changing. With that said, 88Rising presents the above video titled "Rappers React to Rich Chigga" in which rap stars both old and new give their honest opinions of a 16-year-old Asian rapper.

And surprisingly, they all mess with him and his track "Dat $tick" the prevailing reaction being one of awe and disbelief. "You gotta turn this one up," Eric Arc Elliott said, with Jazz Cartier later adding, "This is my fucking guy." Tory Lanez took it even further, saying "This is the hardest nigga of all time," while Meechy Darko was ready to draw the contract up. "This shit fire. I’m bout to sign this nigga," he said. Ghostface Killah applauded the different approach and seemed eager to jump on the remix. Cam'ron meanwhile smiled at the subversive nature of the whole video. "I see the comedic side of what he’s doing but what he was spitting was dope though. His flow was tough," he said. GoldLink though may have delivered the most succinct reviews, saying, "It was perfect, he should never change. He should get more dad." Desiigner, 21 Savage and Madeintyo are in the clip

The line between paying homage to the genre and committing cultural appropriation can be thin at times, as Ohio's Slim Jesus proved last year. But where as the "Drill Time" rapping teen used guns and tough talk to prop up his rhymes, Rich Chigga sports a Reebok fanny pack and dabs freshly ironed khaki shorts.

Watch the video up top with 100% of the rapper's involved giving the youngster props.
