With all the Compton rappers in the news in recent years, it might be tough to remember a time when The Game seemed like the neighborhood's sole entry into the hip-hop mainstream. But now, with critical darlings like Kendrick Lamar and ratchet renaissance men like YG, the doctor's advocate occupies a different role, one with more calm, more remove. In a recent visit to Power 106, the rapper opened up about fatherhood, Disney movies and his upcoming album, The Documentary 2, which hearkens back to his acclaimed 2005 debut. But he also gave a quick jewel on another subject, announcing that he would bet on Floyd Mayweather over Manny Pacquiao in their May 2 bout.

"I either ride with the Black guy or the Mexican guy," Game said during the lighthearted 'Game or Lame' segment of the interview. "And Pacquiao ain't either." Game promised that he would be arriving at the fight without sponsorship, sporting only a plain black T-shirt, as opposed to the heavily adorned rest of the crowd. The rapper also promised that The Documentary 2 is nearing completion and will boast beats from many who contributed to the original, namely Kanye West, Just Blaze, Scott Storch, Timbaland and, of course, Dr. Dre. Of course, he also decided to spit.

For his part, Pacquiao made some waves by suggesting that a certain someone could beat Mayweather in the Octagon.
