It's always a good day when Freddie Gibbs drops new music. The Gary, Ind. native hopped on a record with Young Buck and Skrewface titled “Overtime.” This track is featured on Strictly 4 the Traps N Trunks 111 mixtape and is produced by Kris Carter.

"See I’m a real nigga, trill nigga/Still thuggin’ in the fields wit ya/My lil niggas they be up skippin' class in the mornin’/Kush pack blowin’/They smokin’ minis homey bought em all a pair of Jordans/Im livin’ like an East side straight grinder," Freddie raps.

Gangsta Gibbs had a roller coaster 2016. Back in August, the Shadow of a Doubt artist was released from jail on bail after being formally charged with sexual assault. A little over a month later, he was acquitted on the charges. He spent a good chunk of the first half of the year locked behind bars in Austria.

After being released, the first track he dropped was the Harry Fraud-produced “All Day,” which you can bump here. “Bad Day,” which was released last month and featured The Avalanches, was just the second track Gibbs has put out since his legal issues came to an end.

2017 is going to be a big year for the former XXL Freshman.
