The tell-all memoir also details Wyclef’s experiences and controversies surrounding the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, as well as the formation and eventual breakup of the Fugees. The content’s intimate, personal and at times takes on a serious approach. Interweaved with Wyclef’s signature sense of humor, although the memoir doesn’t clearly expand on all the details fans would like to uncover, it’s an enjoyable and informative inside-look at the Refugees overseer.

Although it’s fictional, hints of T.I.’s trapping days only beef this book up. Tip, with author David Ritz, do a great job in continuing the story of Power and Beauty, who grew up in the same household, only to later build a very intimate relationship.
