Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

You may know DreamDoll from her stint on Love & Hip Hop: New York, which catapulted her into reality television stardom, but the 26-year-old Bronx native has reinvented herself into a full-fledged rap artist through Gwinin Entertainment. Her tagline "talk to me nice" evolved into the extended track "Everything Nice," which has nearly 4 million plays on SoundCloud. Her debut EP, Life in Plastic, has propelled her career to new heights, with over 10 million streams since its 2017 release. DreamDoll is currently prepping her Life in Plastic 2 project, slated to drop in the next few weeks.
