After dropping his sophomore album Dying to Live, Kodak Black is feeling the love not just from his fans but also some of the game's biggest artists like Drake.

On Sunday (Dec. 16), the Pompano Beach, Fla. native posted screenshots of his recent conversation with the Scorpion rapper, who admitted that the LP is one of his favorites of the last five years. As if that wasn't enough, Drake also praised the project for being "so pure" and asked the "MoshPit" rapper how he cooked up his enticing bars.

"Bro your album really one of my favorites in the last five years," Drake said in text messages to Kodak. "The bars you are rapping about friends and your purpose is so pure. What got you there? Like you are almost talking from this god level bird's eye view of your own life. I wanna know how you broke that wall."

Kodak also posted other amiable messages about his album from Champagne Papi. Apparently Drizzy likes Kodak's "Could of Been Different" enough to post it in his IG story. After the Atlantic Records signee caught his post, Drake reiterated the fact that he thinks the "album is amazing."

Despite the negative press he received prior to the album's release, Kodak has managed to keep his cash flow in check and receive praise for other songs like "Malcolm X.X.X." in which he seems to compare his late friend XXXTentacion to human rights activist Malcolm X.
