Drake Dad

Drake's hectic schedule means he will not be joining his pops on the latter's new single. But it's okay--a replacement has been found, reports TMZ.  Though Drizzy has allowed his dad into the creative arena before (check the "Worst Behavior" video for the most visible example), his guest turn on Dennis Graham's forthcoming single, "Kinda Crazy," won't be happening. Fortunately for DG, it appears that that role has been filled: Ze Monroe, a young rapper from Memphis, has made herself available.

Earlier this month, Drake's father, Dennis Graham took out the modern day equivalent of a classified ad. Graham took to Instagram to seek a "classy female rapper" to collaborate with him on his new single, "Kinda Crazy." ("Ghetto style rappers" need not apply.) While Monroe doesn't have an extensive catalog online, she is undeniably sharp, and possesses a quick wit--"Got A Bitch" is the audio equivalent of leaking someone's Twitter DMs.

The elder Graham has been a career musician, drumming for acts like Jerry Lee Lewis and working as a session player. It was originally reported that he would appear on the deluxe version of his son's album Nothing Was The Same, on a song called "Heat Of The Moment." That track was ultimately leaked last fall with no guest appearances.
