Thanks to a Ruff Ryder's reunion show, the subsequent revealing of a Ruff Ryder's reunion tour and some widely publicized drug problems, DMX has resurfaced in the public consciousness. Adding to this semi-X resurgence is a brand new KFC commercial using one of the rapper's best songs as its soundtrack. Check it out for yourself below.

With X's timeless and amazingly anthemic "X Gon' Give It To Ya," KFC's new commercial sees a small group of chickens exchanging semi-menacing glares at one another before as they intermittently move to the beat of the track. The advertisement ends with a camera zooming in on the face of one chicken and ends with the words, "The whole chicken, and nothing but the whole chicken."

The ad was posted onto KFC's UK and Ireland YouTube page, so it's unclear how often the ad will play in the U.S.—if at all. Still, it's on the internet for the whole world to enjoy, and X could probably use some extra revenue considering some tax issues he's had recently.

Last week, it was reported X was hit with $1.7 million in tax evasion charges after apparently circumventing the taxes system for more than a decade. According to the report, X had been witholding his true earnings from the IRS by using a variety of surrogate bank accounts, including those of his managers at the time.

In 2013 X claimed he'd only made $10,000, when in actuality he brought home a total of $250,000. X faces up to 44 years in prison if he's convicted on all 14 charges of tax evasion.

With that in mind, it's a good thing his song's being used in the commercial of such a huge franchise. Those legal feels will be hefty.
