DMX Skips Out On Wendy Williams Show

After being arrested earlier this week, DMX's publicist claimed that the incident  would not affect his scheduled appearance on the Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday.

Well, it did.

DMX was a no show at the weekly taping of the show, which is filmed in New York. Shortly after his unexpected absence, his publicist released another statement, stating that X could no longer attend the taping because of "media scrutiny." The statement went on to apologize fans and to declare that X would not be taking anymore interviews and is instead "focusing on making music and organizing a world tour."

X was arrested earlier this week in a South Carolina airport for driving with a suspended license and not having insurance or license plate tags. X's team took to Twitter to defend the Yonker MC's actions shortly after, saying that he was just “taking a chance to catch the flight in time, so he was doing the right thing in the wrong way.
