DJ Quik Will Drop His New Album ‘The Midnight Life’ On October 14
Multi-platinum rapper/producer DJ Quik is slated to release his ninth studio album, The Midnight Life, on Oct. 14 through his Mad Science label in conjunction with INgrooves Music Group. DJ Quik ensures this 16-track album will satisfy anyone who loves to have a good time.
"Musically, this album is a bulls-eye for me," Quik says. "Can't nobody tell me different because I've seen it give people chills. I've seen it make people happy, smile, drink, party, dance, ask for it on repeat. This album is for people who like to have fun."
The Midnight Life features guest appearances from his son, David Blake, Dom Kennedy (featured on the main single "Life Jacket"), Mack 10, El Debarge and more. Currently available for pre-order, fans will receive two tracks before the album actually drops.
Today he released a new record featuring David Blake called "That Getter."
DJ Quik is also expected to headline the upcoming Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles.
