With the memorial service for Prodigy of Mobb Deep still weighing heavily on hip-hop fans and artists' minds alike, the chance to hear new music from the legendary duo is something that excites listeners everywhere. Fortunately for fans, DJ Absolut decided to release "What You Think," a previously unreleased track from the New York rappers.

Over the menacing beat that features a sample from The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Small Warning," Havoc and Prodigy both provide lyrical medicine for hip-hop fans to digest. Havoc leads the way in the first verse, adding meaning to the Biggie sample from the chorus. "Fuck they think the guns is for/A nigga got money so they wanna bump me off," he raps. He continues later, explaining why he has his guns in the first place. "What I look like biting my tongue/Niggas hating, why you think I got all these guns," he raps.

The late Prodigy comes in on the second verse, offering his signature chilling style of rap to brag about how Mobb Deep members live. "Millionaires is chose/and it's a small club full of niggas who run shit," he says, beginning his verse. He continues onward, aiming his verse towards people who aren't in Mobb Deep's tax bracket. "We the bosses, you watch us from over there/while we overshine you niggas and do how we feel," he raps.

Prodigy passed away from complications due to sickle cell anemia on June 20, 2017. Havoc believed that news of his death was initially some sort of weird rumor. Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and a number of other hip-hop artists paid their respects to the fallen MC online.
