Desiigner Releases Self-Directed Video for “Liife” Featuring Gucci Mane

Desiigner has released the visual for his Gucci Mane-accompanied single "Liife," directed by the Brooklyn rapper himself along with Shomi Patwary. The trippy vid takes place in the middle of the woods, with every scene appearing to be a figment of the Brooklyn rapper's imagination as he croons about the rich life, while Gucci Mane follows up with an impressive verse.

Before the video release of "Liife," Desiigner took to Periscope to entice his fans with a medley of his latest tracks.After rapping along to Gucci's lyrics, the G.O.O.D. Music signee went on to play recent tracks like "Arms," "Up Next," and "Formula."

Desiigner also dropped the remix to "Liife" in early July featuring labelmate Big Sean. On it, Sean spits “I could have said this on night life/Like a Saturday night life (damn)/No game show, but the price right/Niggas pop-pop-pop-pop-pop/Everything pre-meditated/I get my exceperation/I get my day meditation/I gave my life elevation (God)/Fuck with me, that’s detonation."

"This album about to be crazy," he added in excitement during his Periscope stream. L.O.D. (an acronym for Life Of Designer), is the name of the 2016 XXL Freshman's debut album. The project's cover art was revealed nearly two weeks and is scheduled to drop in the coming weeks.
