Last week, hip-hop heads celebrated the release of A Tribe Called Quest's sixth and last studio LP, We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service. Along with the long-awaited project from the Queens group, ATCQ hosted a special three-day pop-up shop in New York City that coincided with the release of the album. With plenty of ATCQ fans and celebrities attending the shop, it was hip-hop recording artist Consequence that had people turning heads when he stepped inside the venue wearing a never-before-seen collaborative shoe, that tied in perfectly with ATCQ's album.

Known as avid sneakerhead, the Don't Quit Your Day Job! rapper showed off an exclusive pair of FILA FX-100 sneakers featuring A Tribe Called Quest's signature colors of red and green while the upper of the shoe is dressed in leather black. Although the preview image of the shoes is a bit blurry, since taking to Instagram and posting about the kicks, Consequence already has the sneaker community in a frenzy as they patiently await more details on this possible release.

With A Tribe Called Quest returning to the hip-hop scene after an 18-year hiatus, the world can not get enough of the Queens collective. While details on the shoe release remain unknown, make sure to keep it locked with XXL for release details on these kicks and further Fila release.
