Concert Recap: Curren$y Rocks SOBs With the Help of Action Bronson, Smoke DZA, Styles P and More

Curren$y brought down a packed house last night (January 4) in New York City. The New Orleans rhyme slinger had fans lined up outside of SOBs anxiously awaiting his presence to hit the stage. It was early but the crowd was at full capacity before the opening acts got on. The night would be filled by many special guest appearances including the Flatbush Zombies and ThisIs50 host, Jack Thriller.

G.R.A.M.Z. set it off by performing his entire new mixtape Herribones Rolexs and Exes, while Domm Briggs joined him in a rap battle that had the crowd going crazy. G-Two teamed up with Chase N. Cashe to perform "Immaculate," keeping the momentum going with his hits "Old School" and "On The Way." Harlem artist, Dave East, kept it going with several of his hits like "Bout Mine" and "That's Wassup" featuring JR Writer.

Curren$y burned down the place with some of his most memorable hits like "Michael Knight" and "Smoke Break." He later brought out a few special guests like Mickey Factz and Lupe Fiasco; also ripping up a set with Action Bronson and Smoke DZA. MMG rapper Stalley teamed up with Curren$y to perform their classic "Address," sending the fans into a frenzy.

Spitta says that right now he is in the midst of shooting several videos from his album Priest Andrietti and wants to work with Kanye West, Korupt and AZ in the future.—Chanel Clark
