When your mom is Celine Dion, it can be hard to follow in her footsteps. But for 17-year-old, Rene-Charles Angelil, he's crafting his own lane. The Canadian singer's son is an aspiring rapper who goes by the name Big Tip and recently landed at the top of SoundCloud's New & Hot tracks on the R&B and Soul chart.

One of Angelil's latest tracks is "Catwalks," a remake of The Weeknd's "Sidewalks." "This ain't ordinary life/Step out the Louis store, get hit with the flashing lights," he raps. The aspiring rapper also tackles another track from The Weeknd, rapping over the "Loft Music" beat.

Dion has previously gushed about her son's passion for music, telling ET Online last year, "He's into music, he loves it." But Angelil was a bit more coy discussing his skills, saying, "I don't know about that. I don't know if I have the voice for it."

While Angelil is just breaking into music, the artist is no stranger to hip-hop. Angelil's Instagram is full of photos with some of rap's biggest names including Drake, Swae Lee, Desiigner, Diddy, DJ Khaled, Ty Dolla $ign and more.

Since releasing "Catwalks" and his "Loft Music" remix, Angelil has dropped a few more tracks including the songs "Never Stop" and "The Apple."
