Bow Wow really just can't catch a break. The rapper-turned-actor and TV host was roasted online this week (May 9) for posting a stock photo of a private jet on Instagram, leading his followers to believe he was flying in the lap of luxury while on a press trip for his show, Growing Up Hip Hop. The internet quickly caught wind of Bow Wow's fake flex when an airline passenger spotted the artist on their commercial flight and needless to say, Twitter mercilessly began making fun of him for the lie.

By late afternoon, Bow Wow's name was trending on Twitter. Hip-hop fans even tracked down the source of the stock image Bow Wow used on his account. The image he geo-tagged as being taken at Dekalb Peachtree Airport in Atlanta also shows up on the website of a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. transportation service. Awkward.

Unfortunately for Bow Wow, this is not the first time he's taken an L online. He's no stranger to the wrath of social media. Back in March, the Underrated rapper threatened President Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, by tweeting that he'd “pimp your wife and make her work for us.” This prompted him to make headlines for his choice of words.

Back in July of last year, Bow Wow was at the eye of a social media storm again because he said he wouldn't be voting in the November presidential election because he was mixed. It seems whenever he posts without thinking, the internet is ready with insults. Here are some recent moments when Bow Wow's posting got him in trouble online.

While on tour with Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow posted a video claiming fans were chasing him to his tour bus after one of the tour stops. But people online started doubting it from the get-go. Some people claimed that the rapper/actor paid hired actors to chase him.

Bow Wow later tried to defend the video by telling TMZ, “Our tour buses was parked like not really where they was supposed to be and I just remember being at the top of the loading dock with Jermaine, and Jermaine is like ‘Yo, you cannot go out there.’ I’m like, ‘Look, I’m not about to stand in the loading dock all day. We gotta get to the bus.’ So I told him that I’m gonna try to run around the crowd. And he’s like, ‘Good luck.'”

Decided Not to Vote Because He's of Mixed Race

    July 2016

This one is really a head-scratcher. While talking to his fans on Twitter, the rapper revealed he had no plans to vote in the 2016 presidential election because he didn't care to. When a user told Moss he should care based on the fact that his Black ancestors fought for his right to vote, Moss had a bizarre response.

“Yeah I seen SELMA. Was I related to anyone? no. I’m saying my moss side of family is NOT BLACK. Heritage different," he tweeted.

Bow Wow even posted a photo of his light-skinned father to prove he was mixed.

Twitter immediately began to roast Moss and BET, the network that used to employ him as the host of 106 & Park, hosted a #WeLostMoss party on their channel.

Tried to Explain the Origin of Dabbin'

    December 2015

When the dabbin' craze came up from the South and took over the hip-hop world in 2015, Bow Wow tried to share a public service announcement about where the dance's origins lie.

“First of all, dab is a strong way to smoke marijuana. It’s the purest form of marijuana. It’s extremely strong. So the dance comes from when you smoke and you cough,” Bow Wow said on Facebook Live.

Migos, Jose Guapo and Rich The Kid, who all made the dance popular, proceeded to clown Moss on Twitter for his explanation. Migos even called Moss a "clown ass."
