Oakland, Calif.'s own Bobby Brackins pulls up with a new video, and he's brought P-Lo, Marc E. Bassy and a heavy dose of feel-good summer energy along with him. Today (Aug. 9), XXL premieres a new visual for Bobby's single, "Whiplash 2.0."

Taking place at a lavish mansion, the video finds Bobby entertaining a cavalcade of baddies at a pool party. With beautiful ladies virtually everywhere, the video matches the theme of the song, which is pretty much all about lovely women.

"Pure California summertime vibes, focusing on stylized shots and various outfit changes," Bobby tells XXL of his inspiration for the visual. "Imagery that makes one want to do a double-take. The overall ambiance is sexy, lively, and portrays having a good time."

In the video, which was directed by Bobby himself, you see a bit of everything Bobby speaks of. From one frame to the next, there are shots of water cascading down a fancy water fountain, sun-drenched whips and a pool party that looks every bit as fun as you'd imagine.

On the track itself, Bobby spits about just the sort of fun he enjoys in the video. His verse is dedicated to his fun with the aforementioned baddies. "What it do? I see you're fond of me, baby/I ain't been good, now that's honesty, baby/You the baddest in the room, speaking honestly, baby," spits the "Tap In" rapper, who previously collabed with Bassy on "OB." He and Bassy also handle the hook.

With his new To Kill For project set to drop later this month, Bobby is piling up some serious momentum. Next, he'll do a ton of building and maintaining.

"Performing the new singles, this one ('Whiplash 2.0') along with 'Big Film' featuring G-Eazy and Jeremih that just recently dropped," he offers. "Gearing up for my next project To Kill For... to be released, and getting thing in order for My Nina, the first screenplay I’ve written."

To Kill For drops Aug. 24. Check out Bobby Brackins' video for "Whiplash 2.0" below.
