BigXthaPlug Arrested for DUI, Illegal Firearm and More in Texas

BigXthaPlug has reportedly been arrested in Texas again, this time after he was allegedly caught driving while intoxicated and possessing marijuana and a firearm.

Last Friday (Aug. 21), X was booked into the Collin County Jail after being pulled over by the Allen Police Department, according to TMZ. He's facing charges of driving while intoxicated, marijuana possession of less than two ounces and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The arrest came the same day X was scheduled to perform at the Country Rising Festival in Canada. Festival organizers announced on Instagram that the rapper would no longer appear at the event, citing a "personal emergency" as the reason for his absence.

He was seemingly released over the weekend, posting his mugshot on Instagram on Sunday (Aug. 23) with the caption, "THAT SH*T LITE [face palm emoji]ALBUM OTW…"

The arrest is nearly one year to the day after X was arrested in Dallas in August 2025. At the time, police reportedly found a firearm and marijuana inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.

He was also arrested in Texas in February 2025 after he was allegedly found with marijuana in his vehicle then as well. According to TMZ, police pulled the rapper over for expired tags and smelled weed coming from the car, and found both the weed and a gun while searching the car. BigX's passenger, Cleodist Landum, who appears to be related to the rapper, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant in Bexar County, Texas, for weed charges and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

X was later released on bond.
