Azealia Banks Claims She’s Signing With RZA, Regrets Endorsing Donald Trump
Is Azealia Banks finally coming to her senses? In a series of Facebook posts, the Harlem native says she regrets endorsing Donald Trump.
Recently, The Washington Post released a video of Trump making lewd and inappropriate comments about women. On Oct. 7, Banks wrote, "i made a major mistake endorsing toupey-toupee. Womens rights are important and we must protect them."
In addition, Banks claims she's signing a record deal with RZA. The two have chemistry, as Banks is playing the role of a female rapper in RZA’s upcoming musical drama, Coco. She announced the news of the record deal on Oct. 9, typing, "just smiling, chilling, summoning coinesha. I'm FINALLY getting a record deal :). I'm signing with RZA. He and I have an excellent work chemistry. Filming coco with him was loads of fun!! Now I get to make music with him!!! Business and Pleasure is imminent." RZA has yet to confirm the deal, but XXL will keep you updated as more news emerges.
If you remember, Banks publicly endorsed Trump back in February. The rapper took to social media and typed, “Ok so, I think I’m ready to admit that I’m going to vote for Donald Trump,” she began. “I think Trump is the only one who truly has the balls to bust up big business. Hilary is too tied in with them and Bernie has no clout. The other candidates are simply… 'Them hoes over there' #thots.”
You can view the series of Facebook posts below via Azealia Banks' official account. The Trump endorsement isn't the only strange thing about Banks as of recent. The 25-year-old MC has also admitted that she bleaches her skin, and said she “did it to assimilate.”
