Russell Crowe held a party at his suite in Beverly Hills Hotel Saturday night (Oct. 15), inviting friends over to have dinner and listen to music. Among those friends was RZA, who had directed Crowe in his 2012 film The Man With the Iron Fists, bringing Azealia Banks as his plus-one, the rapper claiming to have signed to the Wu-Tang Clan leader's label just last week.

However, Banks had to be removed from the party with conflicting reports emerging as to why, Banks writing on Facebook that she was choked, thrown out and spat on. "Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today," she wrote in a since deleted post, later adding, "Just feel so low and mishandled and alone and fucking depressed right now. I wish I had someone to beat him up for me."

Her account goes against a report provided by TMZ in which they cite eyewitness accounts who say Azealia laughed at Crowe's music selection, and called him and at least one other guest "boring white men." When a woman came to Crowe's defense, Banks allegedly said, "You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit."

She then reportedly dropped the n-word a number of times, something even RZA seems to have corroborated, though Banks claims it was Crowe who used the language. As sources tell TMZ, when Banks reached for her glass and gave the impression of acting on her threats, Crowe grabbed her in a bear hug and carried her out of the suite, calling hotel security after.

Multiple guests that night used the word "erratic" to describe Azealia's behavior, with her Facebook statements included below.
