A couple of days ago, at least a dozen or so rappers congratulated Cardi B when her hit single "Bodak Yellow" landed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Azealia Banks wasn't one of them.

In fact, Banks actually dissed Bardi, calling her the poor man's Nicki Minaj. A short while later, Cardi issued an incredibly efficient clapback, posting a video of Banks mouthing the words to "Bodak Yellow." "One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it!" Cardi said in the caption for her Instagram post. Now, Banks has responded.

Posting on Instagram stories, Banks ups the ante and accuses Bardi of having a ghostwriter scribe "Bodak Yellow." In the video, Banks says she and others know the guy who wrote the hit single, claiming he's a guy named Po' from Harlem and he's friends with Cardi's boyfriend from jail. Banks also accuses Cardi of exchanging sex for verses.

"They all call you a smut and say your ass is purple," Banks says in one part of the video. "I might get the nigga to write for me too. Kudos, dunce." She then reiterates her point about Banks being "the poor man's Nicki Minaj."

"Cardi, congrats on your No. 1, you know? Just like you said, like a bum bitch from the Bronx like you, it's great that you made it, you know? I'm sure it inspires a lot of other bum bitches, but, like, you know... you suck dick for raps," Banks continues, offering sarcastic praise.

Needless to say, this is a complete 180 for Banks, and Bardi's video of the controversial rapper mouthing the lyrics to her song isn't the only evidence of that. When we spoke to Azealia this past July, she was definitely #TeamCardi.

"I really, really like Cardi B," she said at the time. "I followed Cardi B on Instagram before she started rapping and I was like, Oh my God, this girl just reminds me of all the girls I went to middle school with, all the girls I grew up on the block with, all the Dominican babysitters. I grew up with girls just like Cardi B. So I always thought she was funny, and when she started rapping, I was like… what is she doing? Then I heard “Foreva” and I was like, Okay, this is really fucking good, she’s not playing. Then I heard a couple other songs and I was like, Oh shit, Cardi’s not playing! And now I’m a fan of Cardi B’s music and her personality."
