2016 XXL freshman Anderson .Paak is a relative newcomer, but he's already established himself as one of the game's best performers. The 30-year-old pays a visit to The Ellen Show to perform his hit single "Come Down."

Surrounded by dancers, .Paak and the Free Nationals deliver a spirited, three-minute performance. Rocking a Philadelphia Phillies hat, a matching, tucked-in polo and blue jeans, .Paak does his thing over the groovy instrumental. The West Coast musician shows off his versatility: he sings, he dances, and he kills it on the drums. On the second verse, he flows, "Can't see her with this pitch black Gucci frames on/Let me take these bitches off/Let me get the full scope, hold up/Huh, full screen, HD, let me take another picture."

.Paak is gearing up for the release of his new project Yes Lawd! with Knxwledge, which is slated to drop on Oct. 21 via Stones Throw Records. Together, the artist and producer make up the group NxWorries. They recently released the tracklist for the upcoming album. The 19-song tracklist is currently free of credited features.

In other .Paak-related news, the NxWorries artist will be performing at Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in a few weeks. He joins a line-up with artists such as Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Erykah Badu, ScHoolboy Q, Flatbush Zombies, Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, A$AP Ferg, Kaytranada, SZA, Lil Uzi Vert and more. Last year’s Carnival included sets by Snoop Dogg, Mac Miller and YG.

You can watch Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals perform "Come Down" on Ellen above via YouTube. "Come Down" is a standout record from .Paak's last album, Malibu, which dropped back in January. The track also appeared in a Nike commercial for Kevin Durant's Zoom KD9 sneaker.
