If there's one good thing to have happened every week throughout 2015, it's sneaker releases. From coveted to pricey options and everything in between, sneakerheads enjoyed a year that provided them with a myriad of kicks to choose from.

From the introduction of new models to collaborative silhouettes and re-releases, there's no denying that the last 12 months have featured a vast amount of dope sneaker releases. Paying top dollar for a desired pair is more satisfying than missing out on a drop. Even hip-hop had a lot to do with some of the best sneaker releases of the year. With coveted drops that include Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 and Yeezy Boost 350 to the extremely limited OVO x Air Jordan Retro 10 and Raekwon's collaborative shoe with Diadora and New Jersey retailer Packer Shoes, rappers continue to help push the sneaker culture to higher heights.

Along with the collaborative silhouettes, 2015 served as a year where the biggest brands in footwear introduced consumers to new, innovative sneakers, which quickly became fan favorites among the sneaker community. One of the new shoes in particular that received a lot of praise, and rightfully so, was the highly comfortable and eye-catching Adidas Ultra Boost. Another new sneaker that made a splash and created quite a buzz when it dropped was the soccer-inspired Nike Air Footscape Magista.
