24hrs, Casanova, Mozzy & Berner and More: New Projects This Week

Love is in the air this week with the arrival of Valentine’s Day 2019. Whether you’re boo’d up or single and ready to mingle, there are a few new drops to soundtrack this week’s or weekend’s festivities.

24hrs returns with another holiday-themed project. After delivering his Christmas gift, B4 XMAS a few months ago, the artist is back with Valentino Twenty. Housing 15 songs, 24hrs’ latest release features collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Madeintyo and the comeback king, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em.

Free at Last is the latest release from Casanova. The Brooklyn-bred rapper with an aggressive exterior can be heard showcasing his vulnerable side with the six-track follow-up to last year’s Commissary. The EP’s Afrobeat-inspired lead single, “2AM” features contributions from Tory Lanez and Davido. Both artists accompanied the “Set Trippin” MC in the video, which has tallied up over 2 million views and was shot in Nigeria. “Going to Africa really opened my eyes,” Casanova recently said of the trip.

Mozzy and Berner join forces for Slimey Individualz. The joint effort finds the duo teaming up with hip-hop legends like Cypress Hill’s B-Real, as well as buzzing emerging acts like SOB x RBE. Wiz Khalifa appears on “Solidarity,” while YG and Logic are paired alongside the dynamic duo on the recently-released “Ayy.” Slimey Individualz is the second release in three months for Mozzy. He released Chow Time in December of last year.
