20 Rappers Wearing Kanye West’s Signature Adidas Shoes

In December of 2013, Kanye West announced his partnership with German sportswear brand Adidas. The partnership, which has resulted in the successful release of several shoe iterations, has placed Kanye and the Three Stripes at the top of the footwear ladder. With Yeezy silhouettes in much demand and praised by sneakerheads and fashionistas,'Ye has not only received the support of the rap community, but also from the top designers in the high-end market.

First debuting in February of 2015 at New York Fashion Week, 'Ye showed off the "Turtle Dove" iteration of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350. Since the unveiling last year, Adidas and Kanye have released other models of his signature shoe. Consisting of the following silhouettes -Adidas Yeezy Boost 750, Adidas Yeezy Boost 350, and Adidas 950 Boots, the shoes have been some of the most sought-after silhouettes indecent history and have helped boost the sales of the Three Stripes. With the previous releases selling out in a matter of minutes, those itching to get their hands on pair of Yeezys have has to turn to eBay and pay top dollar for their shoes. While reselling prices have reached up to $8,000 for a pair,the demand and hype of the shoes have made people plenty of people pay ridicules amounts for their Yeezys.

While the average person may not be able to pay for the insane reselling prices of the shoes, most rappers are willing and ready to pay top dollars for their Yeezys.
