2 Chainz is receiving a ton of critical acclaim following the release of his highly anticipated Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album, and now the first week sales are in. According to Billboard, the Def Jam rapper's new project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, coming after Lorde's Melodrama album.

The "Sleep When U Die" MC's project moved a total of 106,000 units, with 57,000 being traditional album sales. Pretty Girls Like Trap Music collected the most on-demand audio streams for its tracks over any album on the current Billboard 200 chart, with a reported 46,000 SEA units, equaling about 69.5 million streams for its songs.

This marks the fourth straight top 10 album for Chainz, which follows in the footsteps of CollegroveB.O.A.T.S II #METIME and Based on a T.R.U. Story.

Tity Boi's marketing campaign behind the new album had Atlanta in a frenzy, as the rapper set up a trap house venue to promote the album for fans to visit, as well as a trap salon where women could go and get manicures and pedicures, courtesy of the Georgia native. Despite his New York listening party getting shut down by police, his debut numbers for the album haven't been tainted.

Pretty Girls has received a lot of praise from the hip-hop community so far, and it certainly shows in these first week sale numbers.

Congratulations to Chainz on another major feat.
