2 Chainz is often known to rap over trap beats but for his next album, the Atlanta rapper is teaming with Statik Selektah for some '90s hip-hop style beats and previewed two new songs.

On Tuesday (March 20), the Pretty Girls Like Trap Music posted two videos of himself with Statik in the studio and gave fans a teaser of what's to come. "So much weight I need to bench press/I heard your partner didn't pass the snitch test/I fell in love with success," 2 Chainz can be heard rapping. "The only thing I flunked was a piss test/It's easy if you spit fast."

In another video, Statik reveals the two have been sitting on a few songs but have also worked on new material. "We been sittin' on some shit but now this some new, new, new," the producer says.

In the second song, which is heavy on the drums, 2 Chainz can be heard spitting, "This is gas not tobabco/Chain the same color Lassie/I gotta give it to the bastards/Ain't no middle class, you either got it or you don't."

In February, 2 Chainz revealed the name of his upcoming fifth studio album, Rap or Go to the League, on a blimp. According to the rapper, with racial tensions high in the country, he wants to do his part "in explaining some of the brain washing formulas" used in his community.

Earlier this year, Titty Boi dropped the EP, The Play Don't Care Who Makes It. The four-track project features guest appearances from YG and Offset.
