The red carpet at the Nickelodeon Awards may not seem like the place to go for hard-hitting commentary from serious journalists. But appearances can be deceiving. Nichols Bechtel, one of the stars of the long-running ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital, was on duty as the chief correspondent for ExtraTV; Bechtel is also exactly 10-years-old. So when Iggy Azalea caught up with the actor, she probably wasn't expecting to be quizzed about her recent revelation that she had undergone breast augmentation surgery.

"I didn't think you'd be the one asking me this question," laughed an amused Azalea, who nevertheless went on to give a thoughtful answer as to why she felt the need to open up about the procedure. "It's so common," the Australian rapper explained. "And I knew so many people in my regular life who had done it and had a good experience, and I never see any celebrities talk about it, although I know 80 percent of them have done it, too." She went on: "And I wanted to kind of tell women that might be thinking about it my experience, and that it can not necessarily be a bad thing."

Azalea's first headlining stadium tour, The Great Escape, was recently postponed from this spring until later in the year, reportedly to give the production crew enough time to stage the show as it was intended. Iggy has said that she is back in the studio, writing and recording her second album. The new record will be the follow-up to last year's The New Classic, which landed her a host of awards nominations.
