On Wednesday (Feb. 27), Young Dolph was robbed as he and another man were eating inside of a Cracker Barrel in Fairburn, Ga. According to Atlanta's WSB-TV, the Memphis rapper had $500,000 worth of jewelry and cash taken from the inside of his camouflage-painted 2018 Mercedes-Benz G63 as he sat inside the restaurant.

Dolph, born Adolph Thornton, told police that his driver's side window was smashed and contents inside his car were gone. Among the items stolen were a diamond chain appraised at roughly $27,000, another chain appraised at $57,000, a Richard Mille watch appraised at $230,000 and more.

Police have not caught the thieves, but they do have surveillance footage of the smash and grab. Young Dolph reportedly told authorities that it would take $700 to replace the window, reports Fox News 13 in Memphis.

This news comes after Dolph recently made some revelations about his label situation. In a couple of January tweets, he admitted to his fans that he's not an independent artist.

"I have a confession. I signed 2 deals in 2018 and signed a deal in 2015.......... so now that it’s out that I’m not some big independent supastar, and I’ve signed 4 deals like everyone else," he tweeted. "I wonder if all the rappers gonna stop hatin now. Sorry for shittin on u guys knowing dam well i got a Major deal‍."

Dolph has not addressed the situation on his social media accounts. XXL has reached out to Dolph's camp for comment on the robbery.
