It's been a major breakout year for XXXTentacion, and now he can officially add earning a platinum plaque to his list of accomplishments. According to the RIAA, the Florida rapper's hit record, "Look At Me!" has earned platinum status after it was officially released as a single on January 29, 2016.

The Recording Industry Association of America awarded X's song the plaque after it moved over 1 million units. This marks the first platinum plaque for XXXTentacion, who is currently gearing up to release his anticipated 17 album next week on Aug. 25.

Over the last year, X has gained notorious popularity with an extremely strong fan base. Not only did he land the 10th spot on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover, but he also led a tour across the country that became high in demand from his supporters. While he faced some controversies while on the road, and even cancelled some shows due to his cousin getting shot, he has been gaining a ton of attention for his experimental sound.

Earlier this month, X also made headlines when he was the surprise guest during D.R.A.M.'s set in Los Angeles on Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. Tour.

Congratulations to X on another major win, and stay tuned for the release of 17 next week.
