It looks like we will be getting XXXTentacion's debut album, 17, before the summer ends.

The South Florida rapper recently announced the date to fans on Snapchat as August 25. "17 the album, Aug 25th," he wrote plainly on the social media app.

The news should be fist-pump inducing to fans. While the 2017 XXL Freshman has been bubbling like bong water, the last few weeks have featured some setbacks for the "Look at Me" rapper.

Last month, XXX postponed the remaining dates of his Revenge Tour after his cousin was shot. He released a statement on Instagram notifying fans of the issue. “Dear fans and supporters, I am postponing the tour and giving a full refund to everyone who has purchased a ticket due to my cousin being shot yesterday, I want to be by his side, I apologize to everyone I am disappointing, I am, & must choose to maintain my mental health & physical health before anything, we will have fun and meet soon.”

He ended up performing the last show of the tour, which was in his hometown, so he wouldn't have to stray to far from his injured family member.

Earlier this month, he told fans he was going on a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. “I’m going to disappear for a little while,” he said in the cryptic post. “I love you all. But now it looks like he's at least in album mode.

XXX has two other projects he is working on, including the mixtape, I Need Jesus and what was supposed to be his debut LP, Bad Vibes.
