XXXTentacion Claims He’ll Donate Over $100,000 to Domestic Violence Prevention Programs
Last October, XXXTentacion was arrested and charged with the aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness-tampering. While he's claimed to be innocent, the rapper is still trying to make amends for all the women who feel that he's wronged them in the past.
Posting to his Instagram story, X pledged to donate over $100,000 to domestic violence prevention programs. "Also another thing, I want to apologize to every single woman that I've ever disrespected or made feel violated, by me, saying i am 'insensitive'," X began in the text overlaid onto a purple background.
He continued, "I dont take back the remark in a general statement, but I do want to say I would never intentionally try to make a woman feel uncomfortable or in danger by my own conscious will so in order to show progress in my life and show remorse for my remark to the people that support me I want to let you know, that I will be donating over 100 thousand dollars, to domestic violence prevention programs!"
The Broward County didn't elaborate too much, but we'll be looking to see what he does next. Very recently, he signed a lucrative new record deal with Capitol Music Group's indie distributor Caroline, though some details of the deal are being disputed.
