Wiz Khalifa announced a new project the day after Christmas and after the hip-hop blogosphere figured it was going to be called Project Khalifa, Wiz took to Twitter to clarify the title. The Taylor Gang OG blamed the weed smoke and cleared up any confusion by stating that the album, which will come before Rolling Papers 2, is simply called Khalifa:

The album will feature unreleased music and should be coming within the next month. “This is just now being known, nobody really knows this. I plan on putting out a project with some unreleased music that nobody’s ever heard before and I’m going to call it Khalifa,” says Wiz in the above video. "That’s actually going to be available in January. Now you know…go get Khalifa when it comes out.”

Wiz also confirmed that his "Bake Sale" collab with Travis Scott will find its way onto the project:

The announcement of Khalifa caps off a monster year for the Pittsburgh native. His song "See You Again" hit over one billion views on YouTube and has been nominated for numerous awards. The rapper also just dropped the well-received Cabin Fever 3 and he toured extensively on multiple continents. Wiz also had a little bit of luck on his side as he avoided jail time for a Texas weed case stemming from an arrest at the El Paso, Texas airport.
