Vic Mensa has teamed up with UGG for Men, in partnership with Footaction, for the American footwear company’s fall 2016 campaign. Beginning this month, the 23-year-old rapper will be featured in multiple campaign ads nationwide, showcasing four of UGG’s popular footwear styles for men.

“I like where the UGG brand is going,” Mensa tells XXL. “They’re open to trying new things and really pushing forward. When someone like me wears UGG, it’s kind of like repurposing the brand from its original concept, which was made for surfers. I think it’s dope that they’re taking new perspectives.”

Shot last month by Mensa's tour photographer Jake Osmun, UGG's fall 2016 campaign captures the Roc Nation artist at different locations in his hometown of Chicago as he sports four unique UGG for Men styles including theNeural, Butte, Roskoe and the Hannen. “I really don’t get all that much of an opportunity to move around Chicago a lot of the times because when I come home I”m just in the studio so it was going out South and we went to like my neighborhood and went by the water and it’s my favorite season in Chicago and I keep missing it so I was glad that I got to get a good fall day in Chicago,” Mensa tells XXL.

“We are honored to partner with Vic Mensa to launch our relationship with lifestyle retailer, Footaction,” says Alice Hampton, Senior Director of Global PR for UGG. “Vic is an incredible creative talent who brings a unique perspective to our men’s range, which will be sold at Footaction this fall. We could not be more excited to welcome him, and Footaction, into the UGG family.”

Look for Vic Mensa's fall campaign with UGG to roll out all through the fall season. The four UGG for Men styles seen on Vic are now available at select Footaction retailers nationwide, footaction.com and UGG.com.
