Vic Mensa just got fans hype after teasing a project with DJ Drama.

Yesterday (Oct. 21), Vic hopped on Twitter and made the following proposal to fans: "i know y'all love the freestyles... maybe i should do a tape with @DJDRAMA... what y'all think?"

Drama responded to the tweet with four fire emojis. He also retweeted a GIF a fan posted of Chance The Rapper dancing, along with a the caption, "When @VicMensa announces he wants to do a gangsta grillz tape with @DJDRAMA."

Vic has been blacking out on freestyles this year. The Chicago rapper has dropped a few ill joints including going dumb at Hot 97 over N.O.R.E's "Banned From TV" beat. He visited Sway in the Morning back in July and breathed fire over Kendrick Lamar's "HiiiPoWeR." He even took shots at the 2017 XXL Freshmen class during a session with L.A. Leakers on Power 106.

Vic's debut album, The Autobiography, dropped in July on Roc Nation. The project features Weezer, Syd, The-Dream, Chief Keef, Joey Purp, Pharrell Williams, Saul Williams, Ty Dolla Sign and Pusha T.

He will be joining JAY-Z's 4:44 Tour, which kicks off later this month on Oct. 27. The show will make stops in major cities throughout the U.S., including Las Vegas, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Chicago, and New York City, before concluding on Dec. 21 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
