Twitter Makes Fun Of Ray Rice With “Beats By Ray” Memes

With the full video of Ray Rice's attack on wife, Janay Palmer, surfacing this morning on TMZ, the memes have been hard to escape. Twitter has not only unleashed a tirade of backlash in opposition of Ray but has also birthed the phrase #BeatsByRay, which is now trending country-wide.

Earlier this morning, TMZ posted a video that featured Rice delivering a knock-out blow to his then Fiancé, Janay Palmer, resulting in her head hitting an elevator rail before failing to the ground. Whispers of the incident first surfaced earlier this year with lackluster evidence and at first, the NFL only imposed a 2-game suspension on Rice. Since the release of the video this morning, Ray Rice has been terminated from his contract with the Baltimore Ravens.

Several rappers have already come forth on the matter including Ja Rule. The rapper also took to Twitter to voice his disapproval, writing that he believes Rice should be banned from the NFL for life.
