The late great Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni Shakur, is embroiled in a divorce battle that could split the Tupac Estate in two, if her ex-husband has his wishes.

The mother of the rap legend recently filed for divorce from her husband of 12 years Gust Davis. However, the couple never signed a prenuptial agreement, reports TMZ.

According to North Carolina law, the state in which the couple lived, it is up to a judge to decide who gets what during the breakup. And Davis wants a lot. The minister is purportedly seeking the right to live on the estranged couple's 50 acre farm in North Carolina. He also wants the keys to the houseboats the two shared.

He is also seeking alimony payments for the rest of his life. According to the report, the Tupac Estate brings in close to $1 million a year, with Afeni getting around $20K a month after expenses. Davis wants half of that.

Shakur and Davis havve reportedly been separated for nearly a year with the former Black Panther currently living in Sausalito, CA. She has requested a judge shoot down Davis' request for alimony.

After years in limbo, Tupac's biopic All Eyez on Me is currently filming with director Benny Boom at the helm.

Danai Gurira, the actress who plays the samurai sword-swinging Michonne on the award-winning AMC series The Walking Dead, will play the role of Afeni Shakur.
