Travis Scott is a really cool guy. Like, legitimately, he's one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet—ever. But even he's not too cool to suffer a disastrous, stage-set-wrecking fall in front of thousands of Twitter-finger-wielding Drake fans. Or is he?

You see, when you're Travis Scott, you don't fall; you simply relieve the ground of your presence. At least, that's pretty much what the Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight artist said in a recent cover story interview for British GQ Style.

“I didn’t fall, dude, I flew. I was floating. I don’t fall. Shit, nothing happened," Scott said of the accident. "Floating is amazing. It’s like getting in a plane. I just flew, man. I’m a magician, like David Blaine. I could never fall. Drake is an amazing person. Also, a magician. He’s a big brother, super-talent, he’s cool," Scott continued, giving props to Drizzy, who gave fans at the London concert a full refund after the accident.

Elsewhere in the interview, the "Beibs in the Trap" rapper gave props to Houston and his fellow H-town native, Beyoncé. “I feel like Houston is one of the leading things in music culture," Scott explained. "Everyone loves the Houston culture. It needs to have its own monument, its own moment for artists like me, artists like Beyoncé who set it off. Beyoncé is like the highest level. We all reach for that level."

Reaching the level of the Queen Bey is no easy task, but we assume Scott will try his best while continuing to craft his latest album, AstroWorld, which is due out later this year. He spoke to GQ about the album briefly, saying, "It might be the best music that I made. I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down AstroWorld to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”
