T.I. Moves 468,000 Copies of New Album, Lands at No. 1 on Billboard Charts

T.I. has scored his second consecutive No. 1 album with T.I. vs. T.I.P. Although the July 4 holiday landed right in the middle of his release week, the self proclaimed King of the South managed to move a very respectable 468,000 copies of his fifth LP, surpassing his closest competitor on the charts by nearly 300,000 units. The impressive debut came just short of surpassing the first week numbers for his previous album, King, which sold 522,000 back in March 2006.
