Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black has been arrested.

TMZ reports that Crunchy was walking the streets of Las Vegas early Tuesday morning (Apr. 14), when he was stopped. Apparently, Black walked into an intersection at a "do not cross light," which officers found to be a little strange. Upon stopping him, officers discovered meth. According to the police report, C.B.'s response to the police discovery was rather incriminating. "Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth," said the Memphis native.

Crunchy Black had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was booked for possession and for providing a fake name. He remains in custody at this time. He's still facing charges in Minnesota after allegedly beating his fiancée. C.B. was expected to attend a court hearing in November after being charged with two felony counts of domestic violence and one felony count for drug possession. Crunchy Black decided to skip his court appearance and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

A rep for Crunch tells TMZ that the 40-year old rapper wants to move forward with his life and will handle the charges against him in court. Crunchy Black along with Three 6 Mafia became the first hip hop group to win an Oscar for Best Original Song and the first hip hop artists to perform at the ceremony. It's one of the best moments in not just hip-hop but Oscar history.
