The long-awaited collaboration between R&B singer The Weeknd and Puma was finally unveiled yesterday via sneaker publication Foot Wear News. Showcasing the first two sets of colorways of the high-top shoe, The Weeknd and Puma create a boot-like structure silhouette that features a clean, yet appealing upper, like no other.

Appointed as a global ambassador for Puma in September of 2016, The Weeknd joined the likes of Big Sean and Rihanna as the new voices of the German sportswear brand. Appearing already on a number of campaign ads for Puma, it was only a matter of time before "The Hills" singer unveiled his Puma collaboration.

Images of the shoes starting to circulate around the web in early 2017, the Parallel shoes were also seen on the feet of the Canadian singer during one of his tour stops of the Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour.

As seen in the first detailed images of the shoes, Puma and The Weeknd’s high-top shoe features a suede and leather premium upper with an ankle high lacing system and a bulky midsole to compliment the sneaker's look.

The Weeknd’s XO Parallel Puma collaboration is set to release initially in a white colorway on Sat., Aug. 24, at select retailers such as Kith and Barney’s New York.
