Standout: "Goodfellas"

Also Check Out: "Dear Mama"

And: "Koolin"

Name: Armstrong

Age: 28

Reppin’: I'm from West Orlando, Florida. Richmond Heights to be exact.

I've Been rapping since: I started going in and out of studios more as a hobby while I was in the streets as a teenager. I dropped my first mixtape Da Money Bag just before I went to prison in 2008 and didn't really think about taking it seriously as a career until I started meeting dudes on different compounds who would rap my verses back to me word for word. That's when I was like, oh shit, this music shit can be really powerful. It was motivation to really do it when I finally got out in November of 2011.

My style and/or skills have been compared to: Honestly, nobody specific but I think my fans would compare me to anyone they ever was into that was real and spoke on what life is really like out here in the streets. The underdog who they wanted to see make it big.

My standout records and/or moments have been: "Scratch Off" from before I got locked up was one of the ones off Da Money Bag that stayed hot even when I was in prison.

My song "645" is one of the hottest songs in Florida right now and whenever I perform it everybody know every word. People been remixing that on Youtube, fans, and that's the song the DJs want right now.

I would also say that doing my headlining show at LAX in my hometown of Orlando and having 1400 people out there for Armstrong was crazy. That's documented. Standing on that stage after everything I been through and getting that love was crazy.

I’m gonna change the game by: I'm gonna change the game by keeping shit all the way real forever. As I grow my lyrics will grow and I'll be able to talk about those new experiences. A lot of rappers either talk about shit they never even been through or some shit they did but haven't done in years after making money, traveling the world. I'm gonna take my fans with me on the ride with all the ups and the downs.

I’d Like to Work With: One producer I really like is Mike WiLL, I'd like to work with him. I'd like to work with Mary J. Blige and Anthony Hamilton too because they do for R&B what I do for rap and that's giving people that real pleasure and pain from the gut. That real life.

My goal in hip-hop is: To provide a roadmap for my fans. I've sold drugs to survived, robbed, been in shoot-outs, damn near lost my life and been in prison. Now I'm giving the world my story and speaking directly to the people. It's bigger than just making good music.

I’m gonna be the next: I'm gonna be the next hip hop mogul to build up my brand, FBMLE, from the ground up. Brick by brick. Rags to riches, for real. With that also comes the chance to help the community and folks out here who really don't have a chance. I almost didn't have a chance and I'm really lucky to be alive so I'm tryin' to put myself in position to feed my family and also help make changes.
