Tate Kobang’s Pitch for XXL Freshman 2016

XXL Freshman 2016 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Up next is East Baltimore MC, Tate Kobang. Since dropping his infectious track "Bank Rolls," the 23-year-old rapper signed with with powerhouse company, 300 Entertainment and has received praise from the likes of super producer Swizz Beatz. After hitting the road earlier this year on the 300 Entertainment tour, Tate is looking to capitalize off his buzz and take his career to the next level. Watch above as Tate tells us why she should appear on the coveted XXL Freshman list.

The XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class.
