Stream DJ Luke Nasty’s ‘The Boom Boom Room’ EP

DJ Luke Nasty unexpectedly popped up on the national radar thanks to his single "Might Be." The track was essentially a remake of Anderson .Paak's track of the same name, a fact that DJ Luke Nasty freely admits. The song's surprising success - including a remix with 2 Chainz and Maino - has led to the DJ becoming a known quantity, something he hopes to build on with the release of his new EP.

The Boom Boom Room EP features six tracks with guest appearances by 2 Chainz, Young Dolph and TK N Cash. DJ Luke Nasty explained that the title was inspired by the 1999 film Life.

“One of my favorite movies is Life starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence,” he said. “Eddie had this idea of this club called the Boom Boom Room and it was just his thing that kept him going. It was a dream. What really got inspiring was him telling people about it gave them hope. That’s what I hope my music and movement does."
