Ronny J and XXXTentacion Stay “Banded Up” on New Song

Ahead of the release of his OMG Ronny mixtape, producer Ronny J drops his first single from the upcoming project, "Banded Up."

Teaming up with XXXTentacion, Ronny J once again tries his hand at rapping, spitting over his own production. "I don't even need a Rollie, but I bought the Rollie/I don't even need a key, but I bought the key/I don't even want the top, I just wanna sleep/I got too many eyes on me/I got two bitches and they got they thighs on me/I just broke my baby's heart so she cries on me/I just got a little ticket so she flies for free," he raps with an auto-tuned voice.

XXXTentacion then comes in for the track's second verse, delivering a few bars over the frantic instrumental. "I just came, she clean it up like Billy Mays (ha, ha)/She got lockjaw, I just put my dick all in her face (ha, ha)/Her pussy hurt, might need a Band-Aid, a pussy Band-Aid (yuh, yuh)," X spits.

One of Florida's go-to beatmakers, Ronny J has recently begun picking up the mic to drop his own tracks. In September, the artist sampled Kodak Black's "Roll in Peace" for his song "Dripset" and recently teamed up with Lil Pump on "Trixxx."

Last year, XXL named Ronny J to the Best Hip-Hop Producers of 2017 list, thanks to his work on tracks such as "Audi" and "Hi Bich" and his contributions to XXXTentacion's A Ghetto Christmas Carol! EP.
